Prof. Quanxin Zhu, Hunan Normal University, China
Title: Event-triggered control problems of stochastic nonlinear delay systems

640 (3).jpg

By introducing the concept of input-to-state practical stability, Professor Quanxin Zhu discusses the event-triggered feedback control strategy of stochastic nonlinear time-delay systems with external disturbances. Professor Zhu's research has filled the gap in the field of continuous time stochastic systems and event triggering control, opened up a new research direction, and provided a strong theoretical support for practical applications.

Prof. Qingliang Chen, Jinan University, China

Title: A Heuristic Greedy Adversarial Attack on Prompt-Based Learning in Language Models

640 (5).jpg

Professor Chen explains in detail the potential vulnerabilities of pre-trained language models (PLMs) found in cue-learning and proposes an innovative adversarial attack approach to address this security issue. The heuristic method and greedy attack algorithm designed by him, which have been validated by experiments on multiple data sets and BERT series model variants, provide new perspectives and solutions for future AI security.

Focusing on the safety of lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles, Associate Professor Elango Natarajan presented research on the use of lightweight mixed polymer composites to improve the fire resistance of the battery housing. Professor Elango's research has injected new vitality into the safety performance of electric vehicles, especially in the area of thermal runaway accident protection, providing breakthrough solutions.

-MCTE 2024 Session - Oral presentation/Poster presentation

In the afternoon, a variety of academic exchange activities were held in the sub-venue, where 15 experts and scholars from different universities, research institutions, enterprises and institutions at home and abroad made in-depth and detailed oral reports, covering all aspects of mechatronics and computer technology engineering. These reports not only show the latest scientific research results, but also provide a wealth of inspiration and reflection for the participants. In the poster display area of the conference, many novel scientific research projects attracted a large number of participants to stop and watch and discuss, and built a platform for exchange and innovation between young scholars and senior experts.
